Welcome

August 2008

Dear Parents, Teachers, and Students,

Welcome to a new year at Alton C. Crews Middle School!  We are challenged by the new year and at the same time, excited to welcome new leadership in 2008-2009.

Our goals this year are twofold:  First, we want to continue to build a strong bond between your families and our school.  Second, we want to promote student involvement in our school and in our community.

Our most critical need is you!  Please join the PTSA (annual fee is only $5.00) and participate in our committees, programs, and activities.  Research has proven that a student’s academic and social performance improves greatly with parental involvement.  Together, if our students, teachers, and parents become involved and stay involved, we can improve the lives of our students during this upcoming year.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Research proves that parental involvement is an important factor in a child's success academically, socially and mentally.  Help us celebrate 100 years of PTA for Georgia this year by supporting our school and being an advocate for all children - have a wonderful year!
