Announcements:
- Dr. Botta will hold monthly coffees with any parent that wishes to attend from 10am to 11am on the last Friday of each month. The coffees will be unscripted being open to parents’ questions, concerns, and comments.
- Nominating Committee for 2012-2013 officers:
The Nominating Committee is made up of 5 volunteers and 1 alternate. The only requirement per the
by laws is that the person be a PTSA member, but PTSA experience and community involvement are
certainly helpful in identifying candidates for officer positions.
Candidates for the nominating committee must be posted by December 2nd and
will be voted on at the December 12th General Assembly meetings, so we need to know very soon if you are
willing to serve. Please email Nancy McGinnis regarding this at mcgnancy@bellsouth.net.
Officer positions open for 2012-2013 are 2 Vice President positions and Treasurer.
Student Recognition Programs:
Bronco of the Month:
Each month, homeroom and special education teachers select a different student to be recognized for outstanding citizenship, effort, and/or attitude. The honored students attend a special recognition breakfast,
receive a small gift, and have their certificates displayed on the student recognition boards.
All A's & B's: Student who earn all A's and B's in a quarter will receive a coupon for a free ice cream in the cafeteria.
All A's: Students who earn all A's in a quarter are invited to a special recognition breakfast in their honor.
